Wayland D. Hand collection of Superstition and Popular Belief, 1950-1996
Utah State University, Merrill-Cazier Library, Special Collections and Archives DivisionA large-scale compilation of approximately 600,000 categorized folk belief entries, recorded on index cards by Wayland D. Hand, his colleagues, and students at UCLA. Drawn from books, interviews, and ephemeral sources, the collection spans the 19th and 20th centuries and is housed in ten file cabinets.

First Covenant Church, Spokane, 1888-2013

There are ledgers and other records for Swedish Tabernacle, as well as photographs. For First Covenant Church, there are financial documents, organizational documents, scrapbooks, membership rolls, correspondence, and material from group events and mission trips.

Whitworth University Archives and Special CollectionsThis collection contains the financial, session, and church correspondence through topics such as building projects and loans. Additionally, there are documents regarding the Cristo Rey mission program and the Hispanic Synod. There are also documents on the dismissal process that occurred in 2013.

First Presbyterian Church Wenatchee, WA, 1942-2012
Whitworth University Archives and Special CollectionsThis collection contains the main correspondence of the church and various financial documents. Correspondence with Reverend Leslie Borsay and Reverend Frank Beattie regarding pastoral nomination and the eventual distrust of Rev. Borsay. Additionally, there are documents from the discussion of the Administrative Commission regarding dismissal from the Presbytery of Central Washington.

First Presbyterian Church, Prosser, 1905-2013
Whitworth University Archives and Special CollectionsThis collection contains the financial and organizational documents of the church, such as loan records and annual reports. Additionally, there are documents for the pastoral call and the interim pastor, Tate Russell, in 1989. There is a packet in the end of the collection that gives statistical data, program data, and concerns of the church in 2001.
