Oregon Institute of Technology Libraries, Shaw Historical LibraryThe Sagebrush War (1850s-1860s) was an armed conflict between the California county of Plumas and the now-defunct Nevada County of Roop over the jurisdiction of Honey Lake Valley and Susanville, California. Collection consists of a box with 4 folders, containing a copy of Charles Curry Aiken's Master of Liberal Studies Thesis for the University of Oklahoma Graduate College: "Sagebrush War: The California-Nevada Boundary Dispute on the 120th Meridian".

BLM Maps of Oregon Collection, 1999-2001
Oregon Institute of Technology Libraries, Shaw Historical LibraryThe United States Bureau of Land Management (BLM) was formed in 1946 by the merger of the General Land Office and the United States Grazing Service. BLM is in charge of administering over 245 million acres of public land, most of which is located throughout the 12 western states. Collection consists of a set of 6 maps, produced by the Bureau of Land Management: North County Klamath/Deschutes County Boundary, Bonanza, Bly Mountain, Sprague River, Crescent Gilchrist + Crescent Lake, Bly Area, and Keno-Midland Klamath County.

Army Operations: Modoc Expeditionary Force, 1974
Oregon Institute of Technology Libraries, Shaw Historical LibraryThe Modoc War was known as one of the costliest of the 19th-Century Indian Wars. It lasted for 8 months between 1872 and 1873. Francis S. "Van" Landrum was a businessman and self-taught structural engineer/land surveyor in Klamath Falls, Oregon as well as a noted amateur historian and author. Collection contains a map drawn by Landrum that includes all the major points of importance related to the Modoc War.
